Gabe is on his way to Kindergarten in the Fall. Today we all went to his last day of school party and Graduation presentation. The kids made Hawaiian shirts by painting on brown paper bags, wore lei's and "surfed" brown paper bag surf boards. They sang silly songs with super cute hand motions and then received "diplomas" from Miss Christy and star-shaped sunglasses from Miss Ashley. The whole thing was really sweet and we had so much fun.

Gabe getting his "diploma" from Miss Christy. We love these teachers...they are so wonderful and creative. Hopefully, Tyler will get to be a part of their class next Fall.

I think these two pictures are so funny. They're of Jack...but they don't look like Jack!

Big Wheels...The Race is ON!
Jack orchestrated this race with the kids in Gabe's class. It was a total hit and completely Jack's idea. Gabe won almost every race, which was fitting since it was his graduation day. I think the pictures are sooo cute. Gabe's glasses were a graduation gift from his teachers.

Our Gorgeous Garden
We have really been enjoying our backyard. We've spent a couple of years working really hard at making it just the way we want it and we are so happy with the results. Our garden is full of things to eat and places for the kids to play and that was our goal. Our latest project back there is hummingbirds. One of Jack's weekly chores is to clean and refill their feeders (this includes dissolving sugar in water on the stove...now that he's 7!). Here are some pictures Geoff took with his new camera lens.

Gabe's wheat. He planted a tiny bit from a Halloween decoration last year all on his own and look at the results! Who'd-a-thunk!?

Thank You Station No. 35!!!
I am posting these pictures for the guys at Station No. 35 in Newbury Park to enjoy. Thank you for a wonderful tour...Gabe had so much fun!

Starnastics

Today we enjoyed Gabe's gymnastics show. He was so proud to get his trophy at the end of his performance...and so were we. The cutest thing was that Jack and Tyler sat together in the front row cheering him on and saying "Hi, Gabe!" or "I see you, Gabe!" and Gabe would stop his routine to acknowledge them and wave back...so funny and cute!
