These are shots from activities you've seen before, but they're from a different camera. I liked them, so I put them up...enjoy!
Jack with Daddy's swimming trophy
Jack and Gabe with Daddy's awards
Gabe's birthday (I like this picture because I'm "double blowing" - ha!)

I like this picture (Huntington Gardens) because I'm wearing Tyler's hat and he's wearing my glasses (backwards!)
I like this shot because Jack is the oldest and tallest in the middle and then it goes down on either side in order...COUSINS...Jack has walking sticks because he stepped on a bee earlier in the morning and was having trouble putting pressure on his foot.
Me and Tyler after a swim
Jack and G-Pa having a swim
Geoff and the boys (cousins)...so super cute!

Jack's Gymnastics Expo

The boys belong to a really wonderful gymnastics school that is known for being "non-competitive". In other words, they work hard at making learning gymnastics fun. They absolutely love it. Once a year, a show is put on so the friends and family can see what they've learned. Jack's show was today, Gabe's is tomorrow. Sorry the pictures aren't that great...Geoff's brand new zoom lens is arriving Tuesday...too late for the gymnastics show!

"c body"...Geoff's and my favorite thing they do!

That's one proud Mommy

Jack's name is announced and he is given the trophy he's been waiting for ALL DAY!

Gabe's #5 Birthday Outing

As always, J-Ma & G-Pa took Gabe out for a special birthday date. This time, they went to the Agricultural Show at the Ventura County Fairgrouds. Gabe LOVED seeing the giant farming trucks and playing with the animals in the petting zoo. He enjoyed the huge ice-cream cone and pony ride. Afterward, they went to the fire station where they got a full one-hour PRIVATE tour of the station. Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa!

Daddy with Jack and Gabe as they display some of his many swimming awards

Yesterday, Gabe turned 5. He spent the day at school and afterward, J-Ma and G-Pa came over so we could sing to Gabe and have cake. The cake was chosen by Gabe the day before...Power Rangers. Today, he is out with his grandparents on a "special date".

More than 5 candles, but that's how he wanted it...

The Birthday Boy
I said, "smile", and this is how he posed!

This weekend the boys have gymnastics "shows". They will be getting a trophy, so we were inspired to pull out G-Pa and Daddy's old trophies. Here are the boys trying them on. They were SO impressed. Jack said, "Daddy, you must have been the best swimmer in the world!"

Kid's Adventure Garden
So, Geoff is out of town skiing with some guys. I've been trying to come up with fun things to do with the kids (harder than it sounds). Today, we visited the Kid's Adventure Garden, which is part of the larger, Botanical Garden (see post below). It's really neat, and I can't wait to go again with the boys and Geoff. We set out on what I thought was going to be a little nature trail and it turned out to be a mile-long nature trail. I think the boys did a better job endurance-wise than I did...well, I guess that's not really a surprise!
On the Nature Trail

A sort of strange skull thing with room to play inside
