An Impromptu Tea Party
Geoff & Tyler found this little castle made out of plants and they pretended to have tea and cookies inside at a little table with chairs....is this so cute or what?!

Huntington Gardens, Pasadena
Sunday, we Millikans visited Huntington Gardens. We spent our time almost exclusively in the Children's Garden and the Greenhouse. This was due to both a time constraint AND because they are our two favorite locations at the HG.Todd & Hilary - so sweet

Todd with the boys experiencing Venus Flytraps. I remember the joy of that discovery as a child.
Daddy and Gabe finding pollen on flowers. I love this picture because plants is Geoff's "thing" and he's sharing the joy with Gabe...adorable
Some sort of experiment with wind - Gabe & G-Pa

Sunday Morning Play
On Sunday morning in Pasadena, the boys woke up to G-Pa's balloons leftover from his 60th birthday party. They loved that for sure!

Playing in the Pool - er, Hot Tub (mostly)
J-Ma & G-Pa invited us over to their Bed & Breakfast to swim in the pool on Saturday morning. We spent most of our time huddled together in the hot tub since it was kind of cold outside.

G-Pa's Birthday Celebration
May 10th is G-Pa's (Geoff's Dad) birthday. We enjoyed a wonderful party in celebration of his 60th on Saturday night. Here are some shots of the super fun party J-Ma put together for him. As a highlight, the guests were invited to share a story, poem, song...whatever they'd like to honor Greg. Todd, Hilary, Geoff & I presents a "skit" with songs and memories from Geoff & Todd had growing up and especially commemorating family backpacking trips. We included cut-out photos of their faces on sticks - so fun!
