It's an overcast day in Ventura County, so we're inside dyeing Easter Eggs. The plan is for Jack and Gabe to dye hard-boiled eggs and hide them on Saturday for Mommy and Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa Millikan in their beautiful Pasadena garden. After all THEY don't like to eat hard-boiled eggs, but we do, so they'll just wait to search for the chocolate eggs the Easter Bunny will hide on Saturday night.

Happy Easter!! early. We all attended Gabe's preschool Easter Party. What fun! Here's Tyler having his first ever turkey and mayonaise sandwich on white bread...let me tell you - that may have been the first, but it was NOT the last. Later that evening, Jack and I went to church together, something he and I do every Wednesday night. It's our special time together, just the two of us and we both love it. Last night was an exception. Jack was all geared up for a great night...he had memorized his scripture verse and finished his homework. For that, he would get some "Bible Bucks" to spend in the store. Afterward, there would be an Easter Party (#2 for the day). On the way to church, he fell and scrubbed up his knee - minor setback - a band-aid and a hug and we were off for the party! I dropped him off and out he ran to the play ground. It wasn't 5 minutes later that I had a visit in the sanctuary from his teacher - Jack had been stung by a bee!!!! Right on the neck. Unfortunately, we had to call it a night, but Mommy put together a little Easter "party" when we got wasn't the same, but he was happy. Here's a photo.
